It's Been an Incredible Season of Cricket at Olivine!

As the 2024-25 cricket season draws to a close, it's time to look back at the innings that brought plenty of runs, fun and sixes to our vibrant Olivine community. From boundary-breaking events to wicket-smart programs, it’s been a flying season!

Olivine proudly partnered with Cricket Victoria and Melbourne Renegades to bring more action, community spirit and unforgettable events to our thriving community.

 Olivine Cricket Bash

To mark the grand opening of Olivine’s Recreation Reserve, we threw a pitch-perfect Cricket Bash celebration.
With almost 3,000 attendees, the event was a huge hit - featuring cricket greats including Jake Fraser-McGurk and Peter Handscomb, free food and drinks, plus entertainment for the entire family.

 Cricket Blast Clinic

Olivine recently hosted the Northern Metro Woolworths Cricket Blast - a fantastic local program designed for children to build their cricket skills through a variety of skill-based activities and fun games.
Safe to say, the players had a ball!

 Renegades Cricket Masterclass

Olivine cricket fans were treated to a personalised Coaching Masterclass clinic hosted by Wade Seccombe, Melbourne Renegades T20 Performance Manager, and Simon Mackin, Senior Assistant Coach for the Women's Big Bash League.

 Cricket Holiday Program

With the cricket season coming to an end, we hit it out of the park with the Junior Gades Camp holiday program!
Held at the Olivine Recreation Reserve, the day was stumped full of excitement. With 6-hours of cricket skills, obstacle courses and giveaways, it was a run-fest of fun for all!
