Donnybrook Road Upgrade Update

Your commute is about to get a whole lot easier to and from Olivine!

The Victorian Government are conducting a wide upgrade to Donnybrook Road, including more lanes, upgraded intersections and the Hume Fwy interchange, removal of the level crossing and building cyclist and walking paths.

With the planning stage currently underway, this project is set to increase the connectivity of Olivine, which already has close proximity to Donnybrook Station and the local 524 bus route directly outside of Olivine Place.

Alongside these changes, the northern extension of Patterson Drive is expected to open in 2026. These works are scheduled to commence shortly and will boost the connectivity within Olivine.
